What would we have done without the help of Lenise (who doesn't even live in this country, but was visiting from Australia!), Emmy, Andrea and Ilse? Each of them fed us, did groceries for us and helped us generally these last 4 weeks. I asked Emmy and Ilse to help us out, and Andrea offered us her help one weekend. We also asked our yoga teacher, Tina, to come by and cook one evening for us, and that was a fun night (although you did cry most of the time she was here). Youre also helped us out by helping us sell the camper, which we'd been meaning to do for the last 2 1/2 years! It was sold the day after it was put online. Wow! Who'd have thunk it would have been so easy?
Living in the Netherlands without my family around is sometimes a challenge, even with Soul Papa's family willing to lend a hand. Sometimes it's harder for them with their work obligations and living so far away from us. For me, as your mother, it's sometimes hard not to have my parents or my sisters nearby. Still it's good to know that we have great friends around us here in town to assist us when we have the humility to ask for help, or accept it when it's offered.
