As part of my preparations to welcome you to this beautiful world of ours, I have been advised to hang out with someone who has a new baby.
Today I'm off to visit Wies, who is due tomorrow, on 11 April! She hasn't had her little boy just yet. I might have a cup of tea and talk to her about how she has prepared herself for the arrival of her little prince!
When the baby arrives, I'll ask to visit her again (but not immediately, perhaps I'll wait a month or two). Then we can go see what we have to look forward to - nappy changes, feeding, and managing it all when you feel like you should have a manual to get you through it.
It'll be Wies's first baby, so she'll be as wide-eyed as we will be.
It'll be fun though! You get to make friends with a friend before you're born. That's quite something! Let's make sure to bring them some nice flowers to enjoy!
