Rest and sustenance

Dear little soul

It's important that your Soul Mama gets her rest. And enough food!

When we went to see the midwife a week or two ago, I was thrilled to find out that I'd put on 6.5kg! For some reason I thought I hadn't been gaining weight, but all is well. I've been eating meat occasionally, but that's mainly out of convenience. Going to stop that, because I always feel strange afterwards. Going to make a shopping list shortly and then shop for the long weekend ahead!

Lately, your Soul Mama has been flustered and in a rush. She forgets things, or burns her hands on hot pot handles! (But then Soul Papa gets the burn cream and reminds her to put her hand under the tap in time and there's no damage).

Even with the hour we spend meditating in the morning, sometimes it's good to have a break, and split the session in two, or just have a little nap.

And that's what we'll do more of, won't we, especially this Easter weekend? Lots of taking it easy, baking healthy things and eating a variety of good food - and more frequently with smaller serves!
